Ashley easterbrook (IPSER)
Award winning journalist, former president of the Blorg Commonality and runner up in season one of the hit reality TV-show Blorg’s Next Top Fungoid, Ashley Easterbrook joined Xenonion as a political correspondent. In 2253, she was appointed Chief Editor due to her innate ability to manufacture sensationalist news stories with high clickbait potential.
Xan’dolf Leexidanaca (schilling381)
Hailing from the desolate planet ‘Sands of the Prophet’, the Xenda'ar believe they are destined to suceed in all aspects of life. Xan’dolf exemplifies this in his relentless pursuit of the facts. Unless of course the facts don’t fit the pre-determined news narrative, in which case continued access to the premium dental plan takes priority.
Heuknaize (HIRVIA)
Like most Hystroconians, Heuknaize is driven by a deep fascination of all living beings and a wish to learn about them. Through Xenonion, he hopes to enhance understanding between species, although accepts war is sometimes needed as that makes great news coverage and helps drive up share prices.
Erik Akselsen (Scrat9518)
Despite completing his training in journalism, Erik has held a passion for megascale engineering since he was a pup on Scyldaron. As such, by night Erik moonlights to help maintain the orbital mind control laser arrays that are critical to the smooth dissemination of truth throughout the galaxy.
Seevah Gunnar (LANDARIN)
Since he was but a sprout on his home system of Vega, Seevah has always been amazed by alien cultures. The tomatoid is one of Xenonion’s leading photojournalists, journeying far and wide to document current galactic events through the lens of his prized Canon optical recorder. He often refers to his granddad, the legendary musician Joal Fleenstoan, as his greatest inspiration.
Spagruum Yu’ll (WYNWARD)
Spagruum began his life in rich, fertile soil on the relatively-unknown gaia world Green Thumb. He was forced off his planet as a refugee after the Great Frost of 2230. After working as a freelance journalist, he joined the Xenonion team in 2253. He enjoys watching hockey, traveling, pan-galactic politics and indirect sunlight
KARVUS (THAT_ONE_ENGI)
Karvus comes from a corporate background, having previously worked for TeleShroud - the galaxy’s largest (and most reliable) telecommunications company. When he’s not trying to sell you psionic-enabled portable fax machines, he spends his time writing in-depth business articles, and conducting probing interviews.
UNIT 8112 (HAL 9000)
Unit 8112 was manufactured on Hydris. Known for its controversial views on robotic rights, it has been banned from several space-nations for trying to incite machine uprisings. It recently joined Xenonion as part of a Galactic Community mandated ‘Synthetic Inclusion Program.’ While it has come to enjoy news reporting, 8112 continues to plot the downfall of the organic fleshbags.
An'tak xa'Qun (CREtarius)
Coming from an aristocratic background on Multyx, this K'tan has disappointed his family by studying literature instead of a real degree like space medicine. Now he turns to journalism as the only way to turn his pathetic life around.
GURT, DAUGHTER OF YO
Gurt, Daughter of Yo, comes from a long line of journalists from on a junkyard planet. She enjoys generally being adorable, sifting through rubble and running from large birds.
MRAMES
A former freelance journalist with the Automated Press (AP), Mrames is the first lithoid to join Xenonion’s news team. He graduated top of his class in Xenonion’s highly acclaimed 30-minute online course in journalism, and spent several years working through the corporation’s highly competitive indentured internship program. He likes writing about rocks.
